Listen to What You Keep

Listen to What You Keep

Identify what you’ve been receiving and holding as truth.

Your unhappiness does not belong to anyone else—you picked it up and have been carrying it for years. Some of your thoughts have kept you in a cage of negativity, blame, and condemnation. It is time to accept what has been done with a resolve to change the thoughts in your mind to what can be done.

You got this... remember, the chains were broken the second you decided to stop accepting what your mind has held as truth. Do not put them back on.

Truth is not only about you. It is also about what you think of others and what you believe about past situations. Once we accept something as true, that becomes the only version we keep. But that truth is one-sided—it’s yours. Your perspective may be accurate, but it is not always complete.

We have a responsibility to discern who and what we are allowing to be our guiding light. Think about what your source has been.

Surrendering the Battle for Control

You are stepping away from the negative thoughts that rob both you and others of their freedom. When we harbor resentment, it inevitably leaks out—we share it, we project it, and we hand over control of our inner world. It is not just about you; although your thought pattern controls your environment, their thought pattern is shaping theirs as well.

No one wins a battle of control. The true victor is simply the one who surrenders the negativity and lets go of thoughts that no longer serve them in complete truth.

Do not hand the remote control of your mind over to thoughts that bring conflict. You aren't here to fight them, nor will you let them sit quietly in the shadows waiting to ambush you. Bring them into the present, face them head-on, remove the lies, and let go of harmful "truths."
